Wow, we are almost done for the year! I hope it has been a productive year and that you have some great plans for this summer. We will have an optional LiveLesson this week, I will be hosting open Office Hours from 10AM to 11:30AM. Bring your questions and stop by for one-on-one support! I will open my LiveLesson room five minutes before 10AM this Monday.

Announcements:

  • Unit 16 Test / Unit 14 Portfolio: DROPPED; information is still on the Final Exam.

  • Final Exam: Comprehensive over the entire Spring Semester. Please download the study guide from the bottom of this post or the Unit Resources pages on our class website.

  • Temp Zeros: Temp zeros for all remaining lessons were added last Friday, 6/10. Your grade may have slightly dropped, but that is the lowest your grade can go .

  • Academic Honesty: Please do not be tempted to Google answers while taking a test or quiz. It is important to be honest in your school work.

  • Deadlines for Lessons: June 14th @ 8:59 pm for 12th graders, June 22nd @ 8:59 pm for grades 9-11.

Honor Code

While there are many excellent resources online, students are expected to use ONLY their Pearson text book, lesson slides, and portfolio articles to complete assignments.​ If an assignment asks for an outside source, students MUST properly cite their sources. Refer to CheckMyWork to avoid any Honor Code Violations.

Honor Code Violation Consequences

Warning: A zero on the noted response(s) with a WebMail notification to student and caretaker. Student may resubmit response(s) to regain points.
 

First Offense: A zero for the entire assessment with the opportunity to earn points back after a conference between student, caretaker/learning coach, and teacher takes place.
 

Second Offense: A zero for the entire assessment (for a portfolio the student may resubmit work to earn partial credit) and a conference between student, caretaker/learning coach, teacher, and a school administrator.
 

Third Offense: A zero for the entire assessment (for a portfolio the student may resubmit work to earn partial credit) and a conference between student, caretaker/ learning coach, a school administrator, as well as all of student’s teachers.
